I wear 8E for Leydon unlined suede chukka, 8D for Leydon shoes and 7.5D for Leydon loafers... I know it sounds weird but thats my experience.- stevefok

Here I was wearing the latest 3sixteen x Schott collab DR and Aero brown tumbled cxl fqhh DR in premier fit. 3Sixteen stated that the horsehide used in the latest collab is cxl hh but I think it is sig. different than the regular Aero cxl fqhh, the 3sixteen one is much softer which is like...- stevefok

I like the fit of the DR except the sleeves length, I think the sleeves are at least 1/2 inch too short for my preference. But different people have difference preference on the sleeves length, if you are fine with the sleeves length, keep the DR!- stevefok

For my understanding, what makes the shell color 2/4/6/8/18 is base on the layers of dye used to dye the shell. A color 2 (Carmina's rubi) has 2 layers of reddish dye applied on it, while the world renowned color 8 is finished with 8 layers of that reddish dye.- stevefok

I doubt that, I wanted to customise a Chelsea boots in shell cordovan as well but they said they cannot do it. If they can make a exception this time, I will def make a amaretto chelsea boots. Perhaps there are some technical difficulties during the process? May be @Carmina could enlighten us.- stevefok

Lovely boots, looks like this from Leathersoul: https://leathersoul.com/2011/02/14/alden-shoes-the-vintage-jumper-boot-lsw/ They are not reverse chamois, reverse chamois is the suede side of the leather which is much more rough and neppy. They should be oiled nubuck aka smooth chamois.- stevefok
