Re: bleeding madras, that's a trad/ivy staple. I don't think everyone can pull it off though, and I've never been a fan of the patchwork madras thing, but I guess it looks the least objectionable in the form of a pair of shorts. IIRC, the AE premium polish in a tube is a cream/wax combo, so you probably don't need the shoe cream. I would get the shine cloth, especially for black shoes. Don't forget a shoe horn (plastic or metal is fine) and a set of cedar shoe trees.- cvac
