HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Really like the trousers. You mind sharing the fabric and style/fit details?

It is for shirting, suits, trousers, and jackets. Overcoats as well, I believe.

Haha. Sorry, no padding. That is what I requested anyway. There's a little extra fabric in the shoulder, but it doesn't feel like padding. What did you order?

Thank you for the recommendations, wigglr. Do you think 1 or 2 cm on the jacket length? I'm only 5'7" so I don't want to overdo it. And noted on the shoes. I'll try something else next time!

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Hey Eric, thank you for the kind words. I went for the soft shoulder - no padding. The shoulders have a little extra fabric in them to help them keep their shape I assume, but no padding. I quite like them.

OK, first post here. I very rarely get to dress like this, so I don't have much experience. Second pic is closer to actual color. Constructive criticism welcome. Blazer is KW MTM. I think it could be a little longer, but it does cover my rear. There is also some puckering going on just inside...

I'm pretty sure as it pertains to KW's "new system," though I'm not sure about the old. I would double-check with Aaron. I ordered mine with a 9 cm lapel and standard gorge height. I was told that only the 8.2 cm lapel width was available with the standard gorge height under the new system. It...

Just so everyone knows, only the high-gorge lapels are available in varying widths. Standard gorge height is offered in 8.2 cm's. This was the source of a bit of confusion with Aaron when I was specifying my blazer options, but I'm pretty sure this is correct. Below are the lapel width options...

3 months seems a little ridiculous. Did anybody quote you a certain amount of time? Maybe it's supposed to take a little longer if they are trying to match your pants. I'd definitely try to get in touch with Aaron to see if something was misplaced. I was told 4-5 weeks for my blazer. I am in...

I went in for just a blazer and was able to get fitted for pants at the same time even though I plan on ordering those at a later. Aaron was very accommodating.

Looks really good! Pants may be a tiny bit slim for my taste, but if you'd asked me six months ago I'd say they are perfect. So, take whatever I say with grain of salt. Either way, congrats on the suit! I'm awaiting my first KW blazer that should arrive in a few weeks. I hope it fits me as...

Hey jssdc, thanks for the response! I posted a diagram on the previous page sent to my by Aaron at KW. It shows the lapel width options available for only the 2-button, of which there are quite a few. According to Aaron, the only lapel width options for the 3R2 are 3.5" or the 4.25"...

Hey folks, I went and met with Aaron on Saturday for my blazer and trouser fittings and had a great experience. He was incredibly patient and definitely knows his stuff. He is also very kind and friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him while I was there. I am going with no shoulder padding and...

Thanks again vriche, those look great! I am looking for something similar, maybe a smidge higher. It's good to know KW's capabilities.

It's interesting - at least to me - to note the angle at which the lapel width is measured. Neither horizontal to the floor nor to the gorge angle.

With regards to the discussion of available lapel widths, Aaron sent this image via email. Quite a few options available. I thought it would be helpful to share. Also, has anyone had success with a higher rise MTM trouser?

Thank you vriche! Your jacket looks great! And Aaron has been fantastic thus far. I am looking forward to meeting and working with him.

Hello gentlemen, I am a long-time lurker and somewhat inexperienced in the MTM world. I have one MTM suit that was made locally, which I like, but has its flaws and I'm a little hesitant to return (also, their price has gone up substantially since my last visit). So, my plan is to try KW MTM...
