Who says anything about being obsessed with labels? I have multiple Massimo Dutti jackets which I like a lot. I just wanted to validate that buying this jacket would be a really good deal. Even if I don't like it/it doesn't fit me, I will probably be able to resell it for the same price...- XFi1382

It's supposed to be a 48 slim fit jacket, which should normally fit me quite well. Also not an issue if you need to let it tailor afterwards I guess?? However, I'm not used to buying/wearing this high class clothes so just wondering if I could score a Zegna for ~150 if the Kiton for 250 would...- XFi1382

Hi guys, I just wore my Daltons for the first day. They look great but I have some instep issues. At the end of the day, it really really hurt on the top of my feet. Should I get them stretched? Or will this completely disappear in a few wears? Thx!- XFi1382

Well I ordered all 3 in 8.5 EEE since I have wide feet. So it is really all about the instep. Today in an AE NYC store they told me that by breaking in the pain will disappear. I just wanted to know the 'expert's' opinion ;) So I guess the width is fine, the size is fine, it's just the instep...- XFi1382

Just received my first 3 pairs of AE: - Walnut Strand - Merlot McAllister - Chocolate Dalton The Strand and McAllister fit perfectly, but I have some instep issues with the Dalton. Anyone else had this problem with the Dalton? Do I just need to break them in? Cheers!- XFi1382

Hi David. It was the Allen Edmonds store in Brussels. It was more just trial and error of fitting different shoe sizes than an actual fitting, so it might be worthwhile doing a new fitting somewhere in the US :) Anyway, for the Dalton, for now I assume I keep the same size as my Strand, an 8.5E...- XFi1382

I guess that's be enough, given that I would consider them for rain/bar/club :) They look decent, and with a bit of luck, they will survive a 2 years. By than, the upper will be too badly damaged I guess. That is why I don't want to use my good shoes for these sort of occasions...- XFi1382

They indeed look decent. I would mostly use these shoes (probably Edward II in Chestnut and Bellagio in Black) as my 'rainy-day' shoes and to go out with friends to bars/clubs, because these things (rain, lot's of people, alcohol,...) can ruin my higher-quality shoes quickly :) Thanks for your...- XFi1382
