OT: Cape Cod Polishing Cloths
Simichrome polish is also great for polishing stainless. It will also remove scratches from acrylic crystals. Thanks for the tip on the Cape Cod cloth- I'll give it a try.- Super Fly

Taking the Cordovan plunge...
Both shoes are really nice but keep in mind that you can get Alden's refurbished to like new condition by sending them in along with $125.00. Not so easy with the the Polo shoes (C & J).- Super Fly

Mont Blanc or oftenther upper end writing utensils
I have a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck 144 that's twenty + years old. It has a 18c nib and is a great fountain pen. Of course it's well worn in but it's large, comfortable, never leaks and is a design classic (although common nowadays). I also use a Parker 75 (sterling silver) which is also very good...- Super Fly

Old School Abercrombie
A & F used to sell high quality safari clothes for the well-heeled traveler. They also sold Rolex watches before they were common as well as leather animal ottomans from Omersa of England. Now they are a clothing retailer that only has the name in common with the past heritage.- Super Fly

Polo Darlton Cordovan Blucher
I picked up the Marlow blucher at the Polo store. It's cordovan (as shown in the picture). Very similar in style to the BB/Alden cordovan blucher, except it's brown. The Darlton is completely different- Different material and shape.- Super Fly
