    just bought a new suit, stupid choice?

    I have a blue pinstriped suit, its a wool/cashmere blend. I just bought one very similar, a size up because I got a killer deal on it but its 100% wool. Both fully canvassed from Paul Stuart. Was this an impulsive buy?

    Will solid color suits in navy or charcoal, with conservative lapels in SB with one vent ever be considered dated? My dad gave me a pre-2000 suit of his from BB but I can't tell if its too old for me. Thanks

    shoulder sizing

    My shoulders measure ~19.5" says my a salesman at suit store. Does a suit I purchase suppose to have s shoulder size of 19.5? or is it like the chest when youre suppose to get it slightly larger or smaller? I ask because I really like the look of a 18.5" suit but its a bit tight. thanks

    Sizes: Leg opening

    Just carious, what diameter do your guys leave your leg openings? I have most of my pants at ~ 18". I'm 5-9 at 180 lb (Larger athletic build) 40" chest with a 33" waist. I feel like any larger is too baggy and unless it 1 to .5" it would become "skinny" fit. Any input? I ask because I dropped...

    Suit sizing

    I have a 40" chest with a 7-8" drop, so I buy 40R/S suits. I'm ~5-9. I have a suit with 18" shoulders but I went online to buy a new suit and it measures 19" at the shoulders, and everything else seems to be well fitting with a little tailoring need. Does this one inch make a large/any difference?
