Epaulet's rivet chino is a staple item. The gunmetal color is very popular and almost instantly sells out upon restock. I had to stalk the discussion thread to get myself a pair in a popular size. The first thing I noticed out of the box was that the material was considerably softer than I expected. This is the softest twill I've seen on a chino. This definitely affects the draping, since it drapes more like a pair of trousers than a pair of denim. Personally, I prefer a more rigid chino, but I know the softness is very well received. Pros: Fit, quality of construction

The Japanese Twill in gunmetal was my first pair of Epaulet Chinos. As usual the fit is spot on and the construction is great. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Perhaps because of the softness of the fabric these seem to wear a little faster, I'm getting some denim style fades in places. These are my go-to casual pant in the fall.
