Pros: Quality, Cut, Value
Cons: Drape, Color
I had to stalk the discussion thread to get myself a pair in a popular size. The first thing I noticed out of the box was that the material was considerably softer than I expected. This is the softest twill I've seen on a chino. This definitely affects the draping, since it drapes more like a pair of trousers than a pair of denim. Personally, I prefer a more rigid chino, but I know the softness is very well received.
Next, the quality is noticeable. The material, lining, the rivets, the stitching all impress. I've only had it for a few months, but I can definitely see this piece lasting.
Lastly, the color. This is a very popular color, because, I can imagine, most people already have a pair of navy and khaki chinos and they want something different--but not too different. I would have liked a more greyish color, but the chino appears more olive.
As for the price. It's obviously more expensive than mall brands, but significantly cheaper than SF-approved brands like Wings + Horns, BoO, Unis, etc. I will definitely be in the market to pick up another pair in the future.
