Dr Martens Gilberto Sizing Question

soft jeans hemmed shorter?
i've noticed this... jeans that are relatively rigid break nicer than soft jeans... which break very badly for the same length all at the bottom... so i'm thinking about hemming my softer jeans with a shorter inseam (~1 inch or so) anyone have similar experience?- lt_to
