    RIP Cool London

Vancouvers famous for this issue, I read about entire neighborhoods sitting empty there cause of asian investors buying them up and not actually moving over.

jeans, coat, dress shirt? 1st interview

I'd probably go with some kind of chino's (they can blur the lines between casual and formal), maybe a gingham button down shirt and then a sportcoat. No tie. I think the key is to wear it in a way that looks comfortable, as if you were on your way to the family's sunday dinner. Agree with...

Best website to look for interior ideas

Actually Tumblr has been my best source. Once you track down a few good users to follow you'll get all sorts of ideas every day.

    Good hairstyle?

I think you're on to something, but just my .02: lose the sideburns and get the back/sides trimmed nice and clean. Something roughly like this:

Good Hair product for classic look

I use American Crew Forming Cream which is basically a slightly less shine version of the fiber if I recall (fibers blue lid, forming creams green) I go for the same style and recommend either, my hairs naturally pretty straight if that helps too

Allen Edmonds Appreciation Thread - reviews, pictures, sizing, etc...

This is in reference to the separating heal right? (got a couple conversations going on there) Reason is my Strand's have the same issue - and it's the must-have last as far as I know (fifth ave, park ave, etc), with a perfect fit. Is this a common manufacturing problem or should I try...

What colors to wear with these shoes?

So I bought some shoes a while back that are the same color as AE's "Grey Cloud" (see pic). I really like the shoes, but can't find anything I like to wear them with. I just don't feel like there's enough contrast between the shoes and my pants when I'm wearing my grey or blue suits (which is...

Succumbing to the Tyranny of #menswear (WSJ)

Buddy posted this on my facebook the other day. Some very good observations in there. Some things (ie. unbuckled monkstrap and unbuttoned surgeons cuff) are simply trying too hard, IMO. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324783204578621931345651310.html Quote:

So how does the AE branded shoe polish compare to something like Saphir? The salesman threw some in with my new shoes and just wondering what kind of rep it's got

    Relocation & Long Distance Relationship

Depends whats more important to you - career or her. If her, I'd go sooner rather than later. I lost my dream girl (at the time...thank god) because I waited just 6 months too many. It doesn't take long.

Best place to get samples of cologne?

Thanks, I'll check those out. I tried out my closest store yesterday and walked out with 3 samples, but the lady had zero interest in helping me, and 2 of those 3 are only really enough for one go...not enough to decide if I like it. Thank you again!

Best place to get samples of cologne?

I've been wearing the same stuff for a long time now and it suddenly quit smelling good on me (changed my diet maybe?). Anyways I need to find something new. Is there somewhere online I can get variety packs of samples on the cheap? Or should I just go raid my local department stores for all...

    Hair Products

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking for, but I think you might be in the same boat as me. I have arrow straight hair, light but very thick and absolutely zero body (I can rock a mean bowl cut). To add any kind of character to my hair I have a few steps (and buddies all call me a diva for it...

Just got my first pair of AE's... dark brown Neumora's. Can't wait to wear em, but with the amount of rain coming down right now it could be a few days. I bought the dark brown AE shoe polish with them, is this stuff any good? And is it worth getting leather conditioner or anything else? So...
