Those are the velcro SS, but they are definitely not in a color scheme I would advocate. I personally only enjoy the white/green Stan Smiths worn, as a previous poster already mentioned, scuffed and dirty.- @riss

Dude, it is true that there is now a matte-finish Stan Smith available, which is aesthetically worse than the original, but the original is still available. Also, if you buy online from the UK you can get the velcro Stan Smith's, which I can't find anywhere in the states and which are hotter IMO.- @riss

Wow, you must not get out of the states then. Those speedcats and mostros were beyond exhausted by the time I was studying abroad in France damn near 3 years ago. I came back to college in Georgetown and everybody who was back from visiting Europe had them in D.C. as well.- @riss

LA Guy, i have a pair of A.P.C.'s that I had been wearing-in faithfully since june until about 2 weeks ago when i spilled pasta sauce or something on them and really had to wash them. first of all, i was in love with the way they were aging until that point. now, i don't know where i went wrong...- @riss

yeah, those types of markdowns happen in the winter and summer and have been going on for the past couple of weeks already. when the first markdown hits (like 30%) most of the great stuff gets snatched. everything in normal sizes has already disappeared from what i could tell two days ago...- @riss
