    The last on the Belgrave is so classic, big almond toe. Sorry nothing is ideal! I dug around more and found a pair of A&S Wilson Balmorals which would almost be perfect, except they are a galosh cut. Methinks worse than a bit of broguing.

    Nice. With HR, it is most important to have a salesperson who you trust, and understands what you are after. I just did a MTO Canali tux, pretty pleased with the result. I could use a tweed jacket for fly fishing....ideas.

    Get a good cobbler! The increased height would change the way the shank and waist angles to the forefoot, and risk that the shoe is toe forward/heavy/low, and you'll wear them out quickly. It may also be tiring to walk.
