Santa Maria Novella was founded in the 13th Century by Dominican Friars. Ever since, they have been distinguished as purveyors of fine soaps and perfumes. All of SMN's products are made in small batches in Florence, Italy, using time-honored traditional methods. Everything they make is incredible and exudes an aesthetic just not commonly found anymore. Their Crema da Barba (center) Shave Soap and After Shave Emulsion (left) are just absolutely outstanding. Best shaving products I have ever used. Although they are expensive, the yield is incredible. I've used one thing of shave soap for over a year now!
