Had this jacket proxied from UK thanks to a sf member here. Look back at MA-1 thread and you will see numerous posts raving about this jacket when it was first released. Nylon, quilted liner, quilted placket, chunky ribbing, and surprisingly warm for colder weather. Much better than the uniqlo ones you see in similar price range. Never worn, brand new. only selling because it's quite too small for my frame. otherwise a definite keeper for what it's worth. paid $65...
It's normal. You go to bloomingdales/nordstrom/neiman to check out in person, and you will realize the inconsistencies in the thickness of fur on each jackets. There are some jackets with skimmed fur attachments like the ones you posted, while a few have a density that's twice the size of that. It all depends. Thankfully, because I bought one in person, I was able to choose one to my liking.
Are fake c&j shoes common to find? I'm scouring on ebay and am curious to know if some of these shoes are legit or not
What a downer. Went in before work around 4pm to check out the sample sale. Literally packed with 80% Asians (incl myself) haha. Both guys and girls sections were either heavily picked out or didn't have too much quality pieces to begin with. Felt like i was sifting through a flea market selections. Limited sizes, most were in Medium or bigger. Not really a good deal either (50 or 60+ for pants I think, and $120 for outerwear).
selling a brand new w/tag Theory Dobbis Risoul Jacket in size small A nice gift from gf earlier last year, purchased directly from bloomingdales when it was on sale.. contemplating on buying either Tan or Navy 256 briefcase.. It has been discussed before here I believe, but I remember Navy being manufactured with thinner material (though not necessarily flimsier).. for those of you who have handled both in person, how much of a difference is there between the two, and does this warrant enough of a decision for me to choose Tan instead of the latter? also, how is the aging of the Navy one like? I know Tan is popular, especially how...
Don't get selvedge denim. Quality is subpar and its thin. For that price you can get unbranded instead
My Chest measures close to 40, but then again i have an athletic body with v shape. Nevertheless, I somehow fit into most xs sizes as I wear my clothes tight
FYI, this year's peacoat fits extra extra slim. Very trim, even at arm holes I'm a true xs, at 5'7 135ibs Ordered charcoal and navy in extra small, and I feel restriction in mvmnt everywhere. I advise you to def size up on these, if any of you plan on layering anything more than a tee on your usual size. Also, they are pretty thin, so wearing them less than 45 degrees won't be smart. More of autumn - early winter transitional piece, I would say. Materials and...
what the heck happened to Billy Reid peacoat? I remember owning one awhile back, which I believe it was their first run (before it exploded with Bond movie).. the texture was so soft, and everything exuded elegance and luxury with high quality construction and materials used.. it was one of the best outerwear/jacket I had handled in my life.... unfortunately, I had to sell that one a year ago due to sizing. So I decided to order another one few days ago since they now...
