Yeah, same opinion here.
Where are the pictures from? Who are the makers?
I have a pair of Carmina suede captoes from the Armoury. The Carmina suede on these as well as the loafers I tried on was the BEST I have ever seen or touched. It's buttery smooth. Just by touching the suede, you can see the change of the light over the nap that moved under your fingers (sort of like soft fingerprints, that disappear when you brush the shoe again). Since I bought these shoes, I often touch the suede on shoes in stores, and I never feel or see the same...
Thanks for your reply! Honestly I had forgotten about that!
IMO, it's not basic enough to serve as your first nice (formal) shoe, and it's not fun enough for a college sophomore who just wants to look good. Go for wingtips instead!
Question for those of you who buy bespoke: do you ever commission a jacket and then decide later (weeks? months?) to order matching pants? I know this can't be done for all fabrics, but if it works, do you do this?
Skinny dudes are lazy, too.
There is another forum called "Streetwear and Denim" that might be more suitable to your tastes, based on the links. But anyway those shoes and jeans are pretty simple so they should go together fine.
Brooks Brothers milano fit "advantage chinos" are not Non-Iron, but are my most wrinkle-resistant chinos. I think you'll like them.
Discussions of cologne on the internet make no sense to someone (like the OP) who says he has no experience with it (or me, who has a scent he likes and doesn't know very many others). The advice to the OP should be: go shopping with your wife or girlfriend or trusted female friend, try everything out that you can, and pick the one you both like. Don't give too much credit to online recommendations.
