Can someone suggest dress boots for a suit that are rainproof but look nice? Perferably comfortable.
Anyone know the quality difference between these two Brooks Brothers "Desert Chukka Boots" One is Peal & Co, made in England (by Loak) http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Peal-Co.%C2%AE-Chukka-Field-Boots/614H,default,pd.html The other is non-Peal, and says Made in Italy: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Field-Chukka-Boots/MH00369,default,pd.html?dwvar_MH00369_Color=BLCK&contentpos=1&cgid=0522 They look similar but I notice the navy suede is darker on one more than the...
$525 $500 $475 $450 $400 (FINAL DROP--WILL TAKE DOWN SOON) RRL Dixon Wool Varsity Jacket. I bought this jacket from another seller here and while the jacket is classic RRL and a sold out everywhere item, it does not fit me quite well enough, I am very slender and need a small. This was one of my favorite want list items this season and at one point I was almost wearing it in my dreams. It is just a little too big though, my natural shoulders are about 17", for instance,...
J Crew has some for (relative to others) cheap but decent quality. Slim available as well.
For the Dixon jacket, I note that the small is listed as being on 23" long. I am 6' tall but slim (36R in J Crew); do you think the Dixon in small would fit or would it be too short?
mutinydc has SNS herning on sale, army green starks included
Can you confirm that? Based on other feedback and the measurements, I thought they were loose fit, to the point where I have to pass them up. Their measurements are much larger than SNS Herning's.

To add to my confusion the Frans Boone store people suggested that a "small would be ok" when I asked for sizing advice for the stark.
Who should wear a small then? 34Rs? They also have XS (or had at some stockists), which makes it boys-size right? Just to clarify, when you say too tight to wear comfortably, do you mean it is "button busting" tight or just snug? I ask because I want the stark to be fairly form fitting without looking "rock star" skin tight. Since I'm tall & slim (proportionally) my thinking is that I actually look worse when clothes are baggy.
