Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and got everything you asked for - You know where to find us if you're missing anything We just wanted to throw up a quick post about our favorite shoes (Paraboot) to start 2016 off on the right foot. We absolutely love Paraboot here at Drinkwater's. Gary helped launch the brand in the US in the late 80s while at Louis in Boston, and the brand has followed him ever since. He even still has and wears...
They fit very generously in the body, but I would go TTS (/your usual EG size) regardless. It's def intended to accommodate layers, and I think you'll find it very full in the body without layers on, but for the shoulders and sleeves especially, I wouldn't size down. I tried one size down and the sleeves were much too short (though the body was more what I and prob most slimmer guys would go for), and for a winter coat if anything you want extra length in the sleeves to...
Maybe I'm just getting old, but this is the first season watching the night games that it has become exhausting, especially if you're dumb enough (like me) to go out and catch the game at a bar on a Sunday night. The commercial breaks at every opportunity are somehow more annoying than ever - I really don't want more of them, and the ability to review/challenge penalties would kill the flow further and push these games to ridiculous lengths. That being said, to lose a game...
X-Post from EG FW15:
In an effort to bring some life back to our little affiliate thread, we at Drinkwater's would like to share products and lines from the store much more regularly with everyone here. What better time to do this than the Fall? Personally, it's my favorite season, as I love layering but can do without the bitter cold of New England Winters, though we've got you covered no matter how mild or wild it gets out there. We understand that many of you are not able to physically stop...
I was flipping through some pics from the store, and I think we neglected to post (decent) images of these guys when they came in:F5A10153 / Banded Long Collar Shirt in Dk. Navy Crest Print S > XL $255F5D1185 / Dexter Jacket in Black/Navy Wool Horizontal Stripe S > XL $530 [[SPOILER]] Two awesome pieces and fabrics. We took pics of our whole EG buy like this and on a flat white background, but I think we like the brick a bit better. We'll post these here and in our...
Here's mine today. It's just a big rectangle with buttons/buttonholes, so there's plenty of scarf there. I usually just toss it on like this, though I do tie it up when it's colder out. I think it's been said before, but the Button Shawl is one of my favorite things to fly with. Scarf, blanket, small pillow, etc. all in one! Poor lighting as always... Navy Uniform Serge Bedford Drinkwater's New England Shirt Co. Grey Chambray that you can't even see Olive NyCo...
Coincidentally this is my first day of the season wearing my shawl. It's so versatile and I really do think it's a very safe buy for guys on the fence about it since it can just default to a scarf. Like @Ken P and @blue peter I wear mine as a scarf under a jacket dangling low almost every time I wear it, but here and there I bust out the skirt or poncho. I'll see if I can take a pic later.
