There is a difference in character as well as strength between the after shave and EdT. The EdT is more dense and well blended and hard to differentiate individual notes whereas the after shave is more vivid and suitable for a day time office environment. There is no match for the EdT on cold nights.EdT has better strength than the after shave but both stay fairly close to the skin.
It is a very fine fragrance and makes you feel distinguished when you wear it. Everything seems perfectly blended and smooth. I would suggest buying a 10ml bottle looking at its current prices, but if you want to have the best fragrance from every genre in your collection then the full bottle is the way to go because I have not come across any fragrance that can beat it in the male oriental genre. Lorenzo Villoresi Sandalo Today - My favorite Sandalwood fragrance. It reminds of the real Mysore sandalwood paste mixed with water. I have tried MPG Santal Noble but it seems like an incomplete version of Heritage. Seems like Jean Paul Guerlain was finishing up the top and middle notes for Heritage and somehow a little Sandalwood got mixed with it. I also recently tried Creed Bois de Santal but the Sandalwood was very weak and the main player was Civet.
