Lorenzo Villoresi Sandalo Today - My favorite Sandalwood fragrance. It reminds of the real Mysore sandalwood paste mixed with water. I have tried MPG Santal Noble but it seems like an incomplete version of Heritage. Seems like Jean Paul Guerlain was finishing up the top and middle notes for Heritage and somehow a little Sandalwood got mixed with it. I also recently tried Creed Bois de Santal but the Sandalwood was very weak and the main player was Civet.
Your description helps a lot!!I asked my previous question because I met an older french gentleman recently and after he had left I kept wondering what fragrance he was wearing. I don't think he was the kind of guy who would buy a niche fragrance. The dry down smelled so elegant and unique. It had kind of like a barbershop, oriental vibe (sweet, powdery, patchouli). The fragrance had good sillage but did not smell offensive or strong.When I think I am done with fragrances...

Thanks for the recommendations Guys. Coromandel was on my try list and I'll now try L'artisan Patchoulli Patch as well.I was also thinking about Vintage Givenchy Gentleman. Do you think it fits the bill?

Zizanie. Can someone suggest me a Patchouli fragrance that is powdery, little sweet, with medium sillage and longevity.
