I know this is a common practice in the music industry to prevent returns of CDs and promo copies sent to radio or freebies, but I hd no idea until now this was done to shoes. It's worse when it's a chain thrift in a city of others with central warehouse distribution. If you're unlucky a suit can actually be split by a few miles.
