Glad to finally join the club, now I only need a pair of these Connaughts in brown suede
Trying to sell these ASAP as I'm moving. All prices include shipping within the continental US Allen Edmonds Park Ave - US7EEE - $80 IA true SF classifieds mainstay. I've had these for about a year and have kept them in great condition. No scratches, cracks or anything. Original shoe bags included
I'm not sure if this is sartorial enough for the thread but it is most certainly creepy: Louis Vuitton condoms for US$68 What's next, bespoke grass fed pebble grain (for her pleasure) calf?
Other than the first being cordovan and unlined, are the Harvard and Boston loafers identical? The name suggests so and they're both on the 314 last
Unexpectedly so, I tried a pair of C&J Connaught's in 7E (UK) and they fit perfectly
The skimpy shirt collars that seem to be all the rage now are hideous. The arrow on the temple looked a bit small to be Persol but I think you are right:
Dislike the look but love those glasses, can anyone ID them?
They aren't as thick as they look, and the issue occurs with the thinnest of socks. It could only make so much of a differenceThanks, I'll try it out when I stop by the Alden storeThanks for the suggestions
I purchased and subsequently sold a pair of AE's 8EEE Park Ave's - the quarters were still spaced apart more than I'd like to, although less than with the 7EEEs, but the shoes were way too large for my feet and creased a lot when walking. I am planning a visit to a shoe store that sells shoes from various makers including Alden this weekendMy take away from this is to never purchase shoes that you're not 100% comfortable with from the first time you try them on
I am on the lookout for them, any particular maker or last in the $500 range? Here is how my foot fits on a 7EEE AE Park Ave and a 7E BB Peal & Co captoe: Although both shoes fit comfortably, I find the large gap between the quarters quite unappealing. I tricked myself into believing they would stretch out but it seems I've learned my lesson the hard way and will put them on sale soon
