Hello, I am looking for a good Tailor in Philadelphia. I have used Master Taylor & Cleaners on Spruce a few times with good results, but only for relatively simple tasks. I am looking for someone that will make a functioning cuff on a coat and some other more detail oriented stuff. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. note: Custom Tailoring By Gennady out in Bala Cynwyd does great work, but his hours are problematic and now that i don't drive to work, getting...
haha, I fell for the trap. It looked great in theory from the picture. Thanks
Hello all, So I bought this grey flannel blazer w/ pinstripes. I have had it for a few months now, and cannot for the life of me figure out what to wear it with. I do not have the pants (they were not available). I feel like if it's not a suit, it just looks weird. Thoughts? http://screencast.com/t/Ak4onqqo Thank you
Thank you Carl, I know this is a few years old, but some more info would be great. Has anyone had any experience with Domenico? I went to their site http://domenicotuxedos.net/index.php, and it is .. less than inspiring. A first hand account would be appreciated. I am looking to possibly get a tux made in the Philadelphia area.
My only holdup with the suit supply option is it's lack of detailing and i think i would prefer grosgrain to stain. Any other suggestions? Thanks again for the info.
Hey all, I'm in need of a classic tux. I've done some searching and i think i have narrowed it down to rtw martin greenfield (like this if i can find it http://www.gilt.com/brand/martin-greenfield/product/98004629-martin-greenfield-wool-tuxedo) or the suitsupply option (http://us.suitsupply.com/suits/suit-black-plain-tuxedo-p1109ae/P1109AE,en_US,pd.html?start=2&cgid=Suits&prefn1=styleFit&prefv1=Evening-Tuxedo). Can anyone give me a reason to go one route or the other?...
Hey, Would you consider just selling the tux? Is it peak lapel? Let me know. Thanks.
updated with pics and measurements.
I will try and take some tonight, but i don't have a place with great light at home. I'll see what i can do. I'll get some measurements as well.
