Unless they're totally destroyed you can just have them sharpened.
Yeah no shit. We're finally re doing our floors and putting in new lighting. 3 years after moving in.
I was more rude back in 2010.
I tip my worker guys if they do a good job.
Our foyer is marble. It's ugly though. We're going to put down wood look tile in there and in the adjacent sitting room.
I've got the walls cleaned up and patched after the disastrous wall paper removal. Now I have to hire an electrician to cut a hole in the ceiling and crawl up there to put in some more cans. Why did anyone think florescent tubes were a good idea for a living room? While a hole exists I should probably add some batt too. If it's like the rest of the house there ain't shit for insulation up there. Then I can finally paint.
Where is the cut off valve? Ours is inside the fireplace which renders a gas starter not possible. We were also told technically our fireplace is "unsound" since some of the liner is failing. The fireplace guy wouldn't convert it without repairing it. $4000. Pass.
I love that that cabin too. Unfortunately a non flushing toilet is a non starter for my wife.
I'd like to do this myself sometime. We're in chicago area.
The building trades are no longer union. This is the result.
