i bought a pair of lvc 1955, my waist is a 38, i bought a 36 and after strecting they fit good at my waist. my question is the lenght, i want to soak them to shrink the lenght, but i am afraid that i will shrink the waist to much, any help would be great.

the american made levis 501 selvedge that were on the website but are now gone are stf. i ordered a pair from a retail store. they are made in america the denim is good quality but as i said they are stf. they are stiff but not as stiff as other stf i have owned. just got this morning and i was heading to work so did not get a chance to try them on. they measured about 1 to 1/2 inches bigger then the tagged size.
i emailed tom he said him and his family are fine. great news.
might have to buy
