Lots of life left in these wonderful Red Wing pull on leather boots. I believe these are a previous version of the 1125 model, but that is only a guess. In any case, the leather is a beautiful black and brown speckled finish. Some scratches to leather as seen in photos, but nothing too deep. No size marked, but I would guess maybe an 8 1/2 or 9 men's, so take the the 9 size as a best estimate. These measure 11 1/2 inches heel to toe, so please compare this to a size of...
So I picked up a pair of Red Wing boots, and I am guessing they may be Pecos, but not sure. They are not black, but not brown either, more of a mix. In any case, not only no style marking but no size inside either. Is the heel to toe length an accurate measurement of size for these? I am thinking they may be a size too large, but will try thicker socks as they are beautiful color. Can anyone please provide more information on what model these are based on pix...

Klewless title 78/50 - Blue Labyrinth by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child The next installment of the Pendergast series. While these are entertaining, and quite well written, I feel that the series has run its course. We the reader are at the point where there is nothing left to discover regarding FBI Special Agent Pendergast’s shady past, as the last chapters of his life are laid bare in this novel. Entertaining, but not worth going out of your way to find. Klewless...
Klewless title 76/50 - The Fourth Secret by Andrea Camilleri I have read all of the Montalbano series to date, and have always enjoyed Camilleri's stylistic prose....or so I thought. This tale is more of a short story, and I had not noticed until a few pages in, that it is actually translated by a different individual than the previous 16 books. What a difference. The characters have a very different voice, and while I had never considered how much difference a...
Klewless Title 68/50 – 2nd Deadly Sin by Asa Larsson I have been a fan of this series, but for some reason, this title took me a couple of tries to get interested. In a nutshell, a county prosecutor becomes an adjunct to the regional police force in helping to solve crimes in rural Sweden. The cast of characters on the police force is where these books provide some real entertainment. There is in depth character development throughout the series, and the books are...
Klewless title 64/50 by Day of Atonement by David Liss Any new book by David Liss is a treat. Liss writes historical fiction, mostly set in 17th and 18th century Europe. Those familiar with his previous work will recognize a few of his recurring characters popping up in this book, but there is no requirement to read his other work in order to enjoy this title. The story centers on a young man whose parents ship him out of Portugal to avoid church inquisitors who have...
