True. High West, and I believe Willet, already are distilling and aging also.
I've done that trip (+ Venice, but Venice is really boring) twice in the past two years. Can't recommend Trastevere enough. One of my favorite neighborhoods in the world.
Nice to see you back Gnatty. That is the dirty little secret of a lot of high end ryes and bourbons these days. People buying bulk whiskeys and repackaging them. There are a ton of people out there doing it.
I just went long on the two new Lips of Faith beers. They are mighty strange, but I enjoy them.
I only went to two of them. Not to my taste.
I used to belong. I didn't find it to be terribly worthwhile. Some great bottlings, but some real duds too.
Couldn't pass this up. Still in plastic.
If you are going to France go to La Maison du Whisky and shop around. One of the best whisk(e)y stores in the world. They have a great knack for picking great casks to bottle for their store.
Cask strength every time and all the time. Quarter cask of that's around the same price is more approachable than those two.
I've been drinking mostly Berliner Weisses this summer. Perfect beer for summer.
