No it's called the Indigo-dyed striped workshirt. Yes I know they are difficult to tell what you'll get. The descriptions are also often incomplete.¤cy=AUD
X-post from my IG: Tulare workshirt (not sold on the US website but available on AU website now with different name). One of the nicest shirt fabrics I've seen from RRL: heavyweight, indigo dyed and antique beige stripe selvedge.
aldenfan, PM me & I can proxy for you.
Chinos backed. Will back a matching workshirt when released, but no plans to wear together.
Yes tonal stitching would be great.
Looking forward to it. Agree with the other two suggestions; some more workshirt ideas: A hemp or sugarcane blend, stifel print, jaspe, antique woven stripes, anything textured or unusual & of course denim. Colors: indigo, olive, charcoal, grey, black. Heavy, rigid preferred. The shirt details I think you've nailed.
Had anyone got #168 Japan Pure Brown ( they can post pictures of? This is the second release as far as I can tell. I'm concerned that they'd make me look like I'm wearing no pants, although they may look fine made up. B.
No, the selvedge is only visible inside the plackets and inside the back yoke, so you can't really see it except a glimpse inside the open collar. I wrote to them some time back asking them to consider adding selvedge gussets to their button-down shirts, but they didn't unfortunately. If they did that I'd buy every selvedge shirt they released.B.
Are these magazines issued in Japan or UK? Looks like they are sold as a bundle? Are they worth picking up?
Selvedge? The herringbone chinos aren't.
