Seam ripper. If you take your time it is pretty easy.
Practically brand new worn a Few times I did take out the darts with a seam ripper but you cannot tell. You can easily have them put back in. Size small button down collar. Not much explanation is needed for Epaulet. http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/shirts-knits/products/buttondown-collar-dark-navy-twill-gingham
I have removed darts on two shirts pretty easily. One before washing and another after a year of wear. Both were patterned and I had no issues. My guess on how much it adds is probably 2 inches.
Pics and measurements up. Sorry the second is upside down, but you get the up close of the fabric detail.

Are the shoulder measurements based on the front or back measurements?
Is everyone ordering the jacket size that corresponds with your shirt size? I have never bought a sportsman and am a little nervous about the no returns.
I have for sale a TaT sportcoat in great condition. While I have owned it a few years, it has tons of life left. I use a clothes brush each time after wearing it. You all know the TaT drill. This has functional sleeves along with the upgraded MOP buttons. 2.5 inch lapels. Here is the link to the fabric - it is the Spring 2010 Windowchecks - Grey 5223-2 http://www.thickasthievesla.com/fabrics.html Super light, 8oz wool/cashmere mix in houndstooth windowcheck...
