I tried on some RMW chukkas a while back, good quality but they had ivory colored plasticky soles which sorta killed the look for me. Also quite a pronounced chisel toe, if you like that sort of thing...

Don't sweat it Oli: I sometimes wear brown double monks, in the Magistrates Court anyway. And there's one senior junior who wears his with robes (which I think looks silly, black and brown, but anyway...)
