Is it ok to wear this collar without a tie and with a jacket? It's a spread collar correct?   Thanks!
Just wanted a quick second opinion here.. what kind of collar is this and do you recommend wearing it with a jacket and no tie? Is it do-able?   Thanks--much appreciated!
Ah, I guess I was way off with the price range! Thanks for the info though.

Definitely my mistake, it said there was an error posting.     As far as my budget I wanted to stay within the 750-1500 range and as close to the 750 as possible!
Hi guys,   Everyone's been very helpful so far and I am grateful for that.   I'm looking to get fitted for my first tailored suit and was wondering where to start? I'm in the DC area and found a place called "The Tailored Man" in Tyson's Corner if anyone has experience with them...   Where should I be doing research? and about what? How much should I expect to spend?       Any advice would be greatly appreciated!       Regards, A

Thank you to you both for the recommendations. I'm off to a great start. I'm actually leaning towards the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue. These are the exact style that I am looking for.   Yeah, I doubt I will wear these every day. I was thinking about picking these up to wear for "nicer" occasions or important client events. I have a bunch of 50-150 dollar shoes that I'll use for everyday wear now that I think about it.   Great advice! At 22 years of age...I didn't think I...
Hi, I'll admit that I've never actually purchased a nicer pair of dress shoes and this will be my first. All I know is that the price of dress shoes can range from $50 to upwards of a couple thousand.   I wear dress shoes everyday and I am looking for a solid pair of black dress shoes that will look above average, tasteful and will be up for the wear and tear.   I know the budget I gave is quite large (300-900) but I'm either looking to spend closer to $300 or...
