Hi All, I love this thread.  I'm considering buying a used 911 in the foreseeable future.  I'm attracted to the 996, but have heard horrible things.  Soooo, what's real?  Is it actually the ticking time bomb they say?
Hello fellas, In my eternal quest to find shoes that fit, i've discovered that the AE Fifth ave works if iget a 12B for the right foot and an 11.5 C for the left. Nordstrom wont sell a split pairs unless there is at least a size-and-a-half difference between feet, and they don't sell b width anyhow, leaving me to get a custom pair directly from AE. My question is if the Fifth avenues fit, would it be safe to order another shoe made on the same last like Strands? If they...
Hello, I just got my first box of contact lenses in 7 years (whohoo!), and I'm looking for a pair of sunglasses.  I'm still a grad student, so I'm looking for something on the cheap.  Specifically, my life would be complete if I could find something under $100, in tortoise, that looks like this:   http://www.oliverpeoples.com/online-boutique/op-sunglasses/mens/gregory-peck-sun.html   If they aren't made in China, that would be a huge plus.  Any and all...

This happens because I'm flat-footed and very stiff.  I'm slender, but can't get even remotely close to touching my toes with my legs straight.  The tendon that runs from the back to the toes is to blame.  It isn't a problem if the arch is in just the right place, but if it's too far foward I end up with an inflamed tendon, so my pediatrist tells me.  He wanted to fit me for custom-made inserts, but this "solution" would necessitate unfortunate-looking footwear and...
Hello All, Firstly, I am new here.  Thank you for your excellent forum.   More importantly, I recently purchased a new pair of Cole Haan wingtips.  My feet are flat and slightly different sizes and shapes, and I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that fit just right.  I have often bought shoes that seemed to fit in the store, only to discover after a few wearings that one of them is great but the other causes pain worthy of medical attention.  This is very...
