Bought a beat up pair of walnut Evanstons (my all-time favorite AE shoe) on eBay and sent them immediately to AE Recrafting.  Just got the before and after photos.  Wow - the amazing work of the AE Recrafting dept never...

Not sure if this has been stated already, but just noticed that AE raised their prices $10 on many of their most popular models.  For example the Strand and McAllister are now $345.00 instead of last year's price of $335....
