Yes, I have used them before and found them to be excellent. Very accommodating, with a real emphasis on fit. The styling is also very proper and traditional - not dowdy at all, but if you're going in there to get something similar to G&G or Scafora, you'll walk away disappointed.
Viennese bespoke shoemaker, Maftei, will be visiting NYC in January to take orders for bespoke shoes. Nope, no overcheck.
Hard to explain (it's a confluence of the pattern, weave, color etc.), but those are most certainly suitings.   Like pornography, you know it when you see it.
Nice suit, but I don't endorse the notion of midnight blue for business suits.
Add - that's a nice suit, though I would have the tailor temper the shoulders a bit. That tie is the ugliest thing I have ever seen.

Stop being an ass - you're dissing the guy because he hasn't posted pics of completed garments. His 'marketing' effort is limited to documenting the process via a web series, not morphing into Duffy's PR man. Also, as any tailor will tell you, producing these pics is hard (how many pics of completed garments do we see on this forum?), as it requires the consent of the customer. You remind of the guy at the end of the O'Mast screening in NY, who droned on forever on how...
I have criticized Montauk in the past, but he is now posting a full, instructive web series on the subject in question. And you guys are quibbling over why he’s not posting any iPhone selfies in a dirty bathroom mirror??   The mind boggles.
