Vass have high insteps in both F and U lasts.Edit. Red carefully and understod that you've already tried Vass F last.I am surprised to see that you find the 82-last to accommodate your high insteps best. I have a couple of EG's on 82 that actually lack a bit of room over the instep but I had to buy them anyway because they're som damn beutiful. I find both AS (109, 724) and Carmina (Rain) to suit higher insteps better.
No, it's not shell. Antique cognac calf.
Thanx!Sure, price is €680 incl VAT, if within EU.
It is made on order according to my spec's, same leather as the shoes, it is cut by hand, sewn on the same machines as the uppers of their shoes and finished by hand.
Not shoes, but Vass. MTO briefcase in antique cognac.
I have shoes on both lasts, Carminas however on different models, no cap toes. Like both of them for sure. In quality I give a slight edge for AS with the oak bark tanned soles. I also really like the waist and overall sole design on AS, but that's more of a design thing.I have the Armfield's and I have to say that the 109 last is very attractive IRL, it is a very elegant, classic looking shoe.
Thanx! It's what Vass call semi-bespoke, so a standard last modified to your feet measurements. Had Rezsö to measure my feet at the Shoegazing Super Trunk we arranged in Stockholm last September.
Unboxing today. Balmoral boot on modified U-last. Plum museum calf and burgundy suede. Single dainite sole.
I agree as well, they do not look good. With respect to AFPoS, I have nothing but the best to say about their service. I have bought six pairs from them and service has been exquisite in all contacts.
Color is not the problem IMO, fit is. A glove is to fit snug. These are very far from snug.
