I have now had suits made from Indochino, Astor and Black (3 suits) and KnotStandard.   I can honestly say I got the best fitting suit from Knot Standard but the cheapest was Indochino....felt the cheapest too....   Depends on what you want.   Astor and black was the worst of both worlds...plus I had to meet with someone 2 times...whereas on the other sites it was all done online.   The Knotstandard suit is my favorite, just got it 4 days ago...worn it...
for my first job out of college....I chose a navy suit..traditional cut, and I'd wear white or light blue underneath.   best of luck
I suggest wearing a white shirt dark blue tie....that's what I've been rocking....   I love the brown and blue look.   Girls really notice it too.
Hey Sanguis,   I don't work for them at all.. I actually have no idea between bespoke and made to measure...just got my first job where I'm required to wear suits and am new to the game. I went ahead and bought a suit from them though 2 weeks ago after good advice on another forum instead of jabs and insults here?    I got a navy standard....apparently the first and "most important addition to any man's wardrobe" and I love it.... before this week I had never...
so to all of you experts...what is the best online custom suit maker?   I have been doing lots of research, read this entire thread... (amazing btw) and I've come up with these three options...can someone tell me their reports or advice on the below:   -Astor and black....apparently not worth dealing with? -Indo Chino...seems legit? -www.knotstandard.com - a seemingly new business but a friend recommended me to them after a really good experience...any others...
I am a pretty short guy...so off the rack is never worth the money for me...you sound like my kinda guy..you should try buying bespoke suits online...there's tons of options out there online and most of them you never even need to visit a tailor..they walk you through the experience..   read my other posts to find some examples... I've reviewed the two biggest online tailors recently..   Evan
I've tried...in the past 30 days Indo chino and www.knotstandard.com and I am decently pleased with indo chino  but knot standard was faster, cheaper and the quality seems better too.   I got their KS Navy Standard and it was 120s gorgeous italian fabric. they sent me a measuring tape and my brother measured me with their instructions in like 5 minutes. I was hesitant at first but they have a money back gaurantee so it was an easy choice... I give 3 out of 5 to...
I'm wearing custom made jeans and a shirt from trunkclub.com   thinking about getting a custom suit from knot standard if anyone has any tips on this site... they're an online tailor with a twist...want to know if it's worth saving the money by using them.
Hey guys,   I'm new to the forum, signed up because I'm seeing a lot of differing reports on bespoke tailors online. I've seen indo chino ads online but a friend recommended I use www.knotstandard.com as he had a few shirts and loved them....they have a nice site, and seem legit but it's a new concept where you measure yourself... has anyone used this service? Reputable?   I'd really like more info on their risk free gaurantee if anyone's tried that?   thanks...
