I'm in the same boat, I have a slim waist and muscular legs too. Generally I like my Jeans fitted (although not painted on), but when I want to wear something more relaxed (without looking baggy) I have a couple of pairs of PRPS Ponys. They were a little too slouchy when I bought them, so I had them slightly tailored (seat taken in, upper thigh taken in). Now they fit great.
