I would say this is pretty damn good for a beginner, jacket fits very nicely as well as the pants.

Can't say that I do, I don't prefer to look like a hobo.

I will sometimes hang it on the chair behind me to keep it from getting too wrinkled, the general rule of thumb is to never to button the jacket when sitting because it causes tension in the mid section.

I would go with a pinstripe either navy pr med grey that would be the next most versatile options for a suit.

The shoulders are deffinately too tight, going up a size would benifit you greatly.
