You are right in your observation. People here buy shoes so they can photograph them, post on the shoe porn and brag about them. Nobody really wears them, a majority of us go about barefoot all the time.
Did they inform you or even keep track of the number of times you can send the shoes back for recrafting? The reason I'm asking is because I was told by C&J that I could only re-sole my shoes one more time, which effectively puts the limit at 2 full recraftings. I wonder if this is a company wide policy or a case by case basis. I've been told that many other factories similarly don't recraft more than 2 or 3 times but am curious if they even make a point to record the...

The Sand trickers would be nice. I think the blue version is abit too dark and I feel not as versatile. They are also unlined, which I have experience is not so good as far as shape and durability of the suede goes. At that price without VAT refunds, it would be abit difficult to justify. The Lodgers is still available in a Tan colour but the price is a little more than the Trickers and if you own any Chukkas in brown, it would seem a little repetitive. Blue Suede...
