It seems that about everyone agrees that the number 1 and 2 suits should be navy and charcoal. My office is more casual; so is there a simialr consensus as to what the number 1 and 2 pant/sportcoat combinations should be?
The Strand is built on the 5 last, which as Allen Edmonds says is "best for a long, narrow foot." Maybe the Strand is not the model for you. Personally, I would not wear a shoe with a "v" like that.
Yes, but are they functional? Finished wood is not going to absorb moisture, which is one of the main reasons for using shoe trees.
I'd check out Sierra Trading Post

Sale starts on the 15th and runs through the end of the month. Cardholders can buy now. SA told me there probably won't be many sizes left by the 15th. I think they have some other AE styles reduced as well, but I was there near closing time and only had time to grab the strands and go.

Cordovan color, but not shell cordovan. Add a photo of the soles.
What about these H.S. Trask bluchers? They have good padding on the inside, a removable padded insole and they are only $75, maybe less with other promotions that may be offered. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,...s-For-Men.html
The more narrow ones may stretch to a comfortable size.
