After the mojito thread: the martini thread! Before we commence, let's stick to 1 definition of the martini cocktail: vermouth, gin/vodka and some sort of garnish. A drink with banana liqeur can never be a martini, neither can something with watermelon, peach purée or kiwi be. Depending on the brand of vermouth, gin, vodka and choice of garnish you can give the drink a different name: cocktail onions make it a gibson and Gordon's, probably Stolichnaya) vodka and Kina...

Not to burst your bubble, but doesn't this already exist? Dress for Success by John T. Molloy is an excellent, albeit dated, book. What do you want to offer that doesn't exist yet?
My Persol 2720. I've got it in black though.
Quote: I add a lot of mint to mine, about half the amount of sugar, and more rum (about 2.5-3 oz). I prefer sugar to syrup since it's more available, and because it grinds up the mint better, and raw sugar to granulated since it's more coarse. Yes, you only have to use 1/2 to 1 oz. of soda with my recipe. Mostly to top the drink. To illustrate how cold you want this drink to be: some water on the outside of the glass (wet glass) was frozen when I made one at new year's eve.

Ordering a Mojito is much like ordering a certain dish of your preference, let's assume a steak for my more visually-oriented reader - if any. If you order a steak, you pretty much know what to expect: a slice of cow....
Might as well give my opinion. Men and women alike look for alliances that will increase their chances of survival and reproduction. After all, those are the 2 common denominators for EVERY species - humans are no different, we're just a biological machine people. People possessing qualities that increase their own chances of survival and reproduction are of course powerful allies because they will increase your chances as well. Hence we can define attraction: qualities...
Hi, I've got this (very) old suit - it used to be my dad's, I believe it was actually the suit he got married in - so it's most likely semi-custom. It's a german brand (Création Gross) and there's a label from a local Dutch tailorer. It fits me fairly well - could use a few alterations but nothing too fancy. However, it's fairly heavy and looks kind of old fashioned, this because of the fabric. My question: is this suit wearable nowadays? Pictures: (can make more per...
