We started with one in 1998. At one point we had 5. Then kids arrived. Down to 3 now and may be 2 as they age out, it's a lot of work, kids AND greyhounds. PM if you have any general questions--we've gone through it all and my wife and I are pretty active in helping our local adoption agency, it is very rewarding/satisfying for the soul...tip: Don't foster dogs without going into it knowing that really, there's no such thing, it's more like pre-adoption tryouts hahahahaah....
CA, and can't take our 3 greyhounds to Easter services. The kids make enough noise, ha.Love the football talk on baseball's opening day. Show us where our minds are.On the jerseys -- there's a lot of "gray market" stuff made for Asian markets that creeps back into the U.S. I am a Washington fan and I get all my stuff unlicensed off eBay because it costs way less. Made by diff companies, not licensed by the NFL for sale in U.S. If I am done with it (like, say after I got...
So I grew up and went to college in Ohio. Interviewed then-gov. voinovich's son (kosar era) for an article about Browns fans. One of my favorite quotes in the thousands of stories I've written, ever: "My dad goes to the game with doctors and stuff, and they all turn into animals!"
Brian effing Sipe? Where's Steve DeBerg and Dave Krieg? Heh.
this is not a brag this is not a thrift fit pic this is a thank you to my thread brethren for teaching me what is good, what looks like crap, what is a bargain, what isn't. My family takes a cellphone portrait every Easter. It seems to be the only time when we all are dressed up at the same time, and we mark the years here. Practically all the clothes in this shot were thrifted/outlet/flea market. Posted on FB, 15 likes in a few hours (excellent for me, hah). THat's a...
Ah so THAT's where Coppley came from. I'd been meaning to ask. I've had a couple things, seen a bunch of it and recognized it as better than Banana Rep or whatever but I'd always wondered. I have some Harry Rosen brand trou, too, hanging in the closet. Knew it'd never flip but some of those are half-lined, nice fabric, etc
Details used (late '80s/early '90s) used to be really good -- had a pretty good music section and was a well-rounded men's mag, culture, etc. A little pretentious, but I enjoyed if for 4-5 years. I subscribed to it and Esquire. Then the Internets distracted me, hahahah. I can't really comment on the style section, because I would skip over that at the time. I do remember thinking at the time they were heavy on hygiene/cologne/cosmetics-y content and wishing they had more...
OK, I hit some CT, Ohio & PA shops randomly on an epic 4-day, 1600 mile road trip for non-pleasure reasons (heh, I bought some gear and I had to pick it up...a used but working commercial generator for my house...of all things...from an industrial auctioneer who is related to me) and either the Ryan Macklemore Syndrome oft-discussed here is in full effect, or you bitches already picked them stores clean, or I just was having bad luck....but I got a few things for the...
I picked up a couple pairs of these, I put them in the canali quadrant, they're nice. I have some, what's the expression someone once used here, "generic uomo" that are worse --but still passable for office wear. Like tan wool generic uomo pants next to the cotton khaki man at the keurig machine makes you look pretty good, and santorellis are a notch or two above that. IMHO. Some people here might not get them but damn, you see what new ones go for? At $5 a pair, they're a...
Also, if the goodwill pricing people happened to read this thread & just went off mexicutioner's price rants (which I agree with) for a guide, then we're good, no?
